Class reminder for 7 October

Well now! Anyone else a little bit shocked to find it's suddenly October? Where ever did the summer go!! I don't mind - it is a Birthday month for some *ahem* and we Libras have to stick toegther.

Just a little reminder for my beautiful burlesque students - if you are taking my class next Wednesday 7th, don't forget to bring props to use! I'll bring some extra-special things along myself in case you need inspiration, but if you have anything that feels particularly 'you' do haul it along. It can be anything - gloves, hats, a particularly fabulous handbag or a stuffed ferret, I don't mind!

Well helloooooooooooo there! Fancy meeting you here. Lovely weather we're having isn't it? I very nearly long for a chill breeze in the air - at least then I could wear my lovely new coat and not feel like I've been dipped in yuck all day. Nothing quite like rampant humidity to put a girl all out of sorts.

But no, August is a fine, fine month and I'm sure that come January I'll be complaining about the dark and wet - I'm a temperate kind of gal - not too hot and not too cold (not too bright and not too dull). Should have named myself Goldilocks!

So what do you feel like doing today? Dancing? I'll put some music on, shall I - we'll shimmy the afternoon away!
